3 Days Rwanda Cultural Tour
The 3 Days Rwanda Cultural Tour is an all in one tour itinerary designed to allow you visit Rwanda communities, learn about their culture as well have a one day reserved activity for gorilla trekking in the Volcanoes National Park. On this Cultural Tour, you will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre for a historical tour and lecture on the 1994 genocide that claimed thousands of Rwanda nationals in a tribal fight between the Hutu and the Tutsi. This memorable museum is now dedicated to being an educational site with exhibitions and displays of skeletal bodies for travelers that visit Rwanda.
Get the feel of the Kinyarwanda traditions and culture dating from the pre-colonial era and an opportunity to taste the local foods and locally brewed wines and to participate in cultural activities such as storytelling, singing and dancing around a campfire and spend the night in a traditional hut. Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali Internation airport, or at the pickup location in Kigali, you will be met and warmly welcomed by our tour guide/driver who will take you through the whole gorilla trekking tour expectations and plans for the two days you are in Rwanda, then after be transferred to Volcanoes National Park reaching at your hotel for checking in.
Enjoy the scenic journey drive giving you amazing views of Rwanda’s hills and valleys leading to different communities and villages in Rwanda with stopovers at various trading centers where you can do local shopping from.

Day 2: Iby’Iwacu cultural village
Early in the morning, you wake up to a tasty breakfast and start your second-day Rwanda cultural tour with a drive to the Iby’wacu cultural village for a detailed account of the Kinyarwanda traditions and culture dating from the pre-colonial era. This is the most enticing of this tour as you get to participate in real life with the people here having the opportunity to taste the local foods and locally brewed wines. You will participate in cultural activities such as storytelling, singing and dancing around a campfire and spend the night in a traditional hut. We spend the night here and prepare for the next day gorilla trekking activity to end the 3 Days Rwanda cultural tour in style.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking, Departure to Kigali
After an early local breakfast prepared by the locals, Prepare, get your gorilla trekking pack-list ready and our driver/guide will transfer you from the I’byiwacu village heading to the Volcanoes National park headquarters in Kinigi. Upon arrival at around 8:00 am, you will be briefed about the activity of gorilla trekking and get on with the trek and hike in search for the gorillas. On several occasions, it takes between 1 to 6 hours to trek the gorillas depending on their current stay.
You will be guaranteed only one hour to interact with the gorillas. It is really a nice experience seeing them play, guard each other, feed among others. After the trek, we will take our long journey back to Kigali reaching in the evening, and our driver will drop you off at the hotel of your residence to start arrangements for your next day flight plans.
