The 4 Days Rwanda Cultural Tour itinerary includes gorilla trekking; The thrill and awesome sensation of looking into the eyes of the world’s largest living primates (mountain gorillas) in their natural habitat.

Visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, a sobering and yet touching museum dedicated to the nearly one million people who lost their lives in the conflict and is now an educational site with museums and exhibits dedicated to preventing genocides around the world.

Getting a feel of the Kinyarwanda traditions and culture dating from the pre-colonial era and an opportunity to taste the local foods and locally brewed wines and to participate in cultural activities such as storytelling, singing and dancing around a camp fire and spend the night in a traditional hut.

Experiencing the dynamics of bargaining when buying items in one of the country’s shopping spots (Kimironko market) as you shop for your souvenirs.

Day 1: Travel to Parc Nationale Des Volcanoes

The 4 Days Rwanda Cultural Tour with an early breakfast and drive to Parc Nationale des Volcanoes. You will check-in at the lodge of your booking for lunch and some rest. You will spend the rest of the day sightseeing and relaxing around the hotel till dinner time.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking

You will have an early breakfast and report at the Park Headquarters for a briefing on the rules to be observed during Gorilla trekking. You will be allocated a Gorilla family to track and guides to lead you to the Gorillas. The gorilla tracking will take 2-5 hours. Once found, you will spend a maximum of one hour observing the gorillas in their natural setting. After the tracking you will be returned to your hotel.

Day 3: Visit Iby’Iwacu cultural village

You will have lunch and breakfast and drive to the Iby’wachu cultural village for a detailed account of the Kinyarwanda traditions and culture dating from the pre-colonial era. This is the exciting part of the 4 Day Rwanda Gorilla & Cultural Tour itinerary where you get to mingle with foreign culture. You will have opportunity to taste the local foods and locally brewed wines. You will participate in cultural activities such as storytelling, singing and dancing around a camp fire and spend the night in a traditional hut.

Day 4: Kigali city excursion and departure

End the 4 Days Rwanda Cultural Tour and Gorilla Safari with an early breakfast after which you will set off for Kigali City Ecursion. You will have lunch after which you will go for an excursion in the City of Kigali. You will visit the Genocide memorial site, the colorful markets, and the craft centers. You will be returned to you for lunch after which you will be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight.
